Some Days

I have been so blessed by the many people who have messaged me saying they have been encouraged by my posts. It is so humbling to  see how God can use all things to bless others. It’s easy to write about the numerous good things that He does  but it’s just as important to share the challenges.  I wanted to take a moment and recognize that there really are just some days that are harder so whatever you are facing please know it’s ok to have those days too. I am all for praising God in the days where I am able to be productive and active today is not one of those days. I have been wanting to write something but nothing was coming and then I felt God say it’s important to share those some days.

So, here I am curled under my electric blanket a dear friend gifted to me and sharing that even in those days when we just have nothing God is near. He delights in wrapping His arms around us and comforting us in our challenges. The past few days have held a lot of side effects as I hit a particularly challenging part in my chemo regime and I struggle feeling I should be doing something. Have you ever felt that you aren’t doing enough? It is in this moment that I realize that just being with Him is enough. As the nausea, fatigue, aches and pains hit it’s enough that I curl up with Him. I am not one to talk much about “the negative” because frankly God is just too amazingly good but I wanted to share this because it’s important that we know He is with us always!! In the midst of every challenge. I hope that whatever challenges you are experiencing you will know that He is right next to you even on those some days!
